WHAT IS A BOARD CERTIFIED VETERINARY SPECIALIST?

     The tremendous amount of new information concerning pet health care and the high level of sophistication that is attainable in veterinary practice have led to the emergence of a number of veterinary medical specialties comparable to those in human medicine. The American Veterinary Medical Association now recognizes twenty such specialties.
